Plast Dip is what Paint is isn't.
Fast. Affordable. Removable.
Plasti Dip is a specialized rubber coating that is "tempermenant." Meaning a plasti dipped surface is temporarily permanent, until the sealed bond is released when the coating is peeled off. Plasti Dip was originally formulated to "dip" tools. A few dunks in "dip" will give you a nice rubberized handle on just about any tool. However, about 2 years ago, DipYouCar.com perfected the art of applying plasti dip to cars. This process continues to evolve and get better as the dipping community avidly shares feedback and methods with each other across the nation.
Plasti Dip is NOT...
Plasti Dip is not paint. It is not permanent.
It does not replace a new paint job, although it looks that way. Plasti Dip does not cost a fortune.
Plasti Dip does not take forever to install..
Plasti Dip Gloss is not a clear coat. It simply adds more shine to the finish of Plasti Dip. It will still have the look and feel of Plasti Dip. If you want a super shiny clear-coat like finish that you can buff and wax for hours, then a new paint job is what you are looking for.
Plasti Dip is not hard to take care of.
Plasti Dip is new revolutionary way to armor you car, adding, color and protection for a fraction of the cost of traditional paint.
TLC for Dip
Plasti Dip is tough stuff. It will last several years with proper care and maintenance. The best wash method to use on a dipped surface is a touchless wash using a pressure washer and foaming soap. This method avoids excess friction against the dip. Typical car wash soap that has wax included should not be used on dip. Due to the rubberized surface you do not want to use sponges or microfibers towels either, which will leave fibers behind. There are special dip rags, which have no fibers. We recommend a foaming car wash, like DipWash® which contains no chemicals harmful to dip. BrakeDustPro wheel spray will keep those dipped rims looking to notch. Afterwards, just let your dip air dry. Plasti Dip stands up to the elements and the surface repels dirt and pollen when compared to a regular clear coat, so you can go much longer in between washes with plasti dip. If your dip gets a chip or tear, there are repair kits available. Major repairs can be completed in our garage. If you have a custom color, we will save the formula to recreate that color and save a small sample for touch-up purposes.
Just Dip It!
You can put Plasti Dip on just about anything, from guns to kitchen appliances. It was originally made for tools. It works great on crafts, sports equipment, helmets, ATVs, farm tractors, golf carts. It you can dream it, we can dip it.
A Dip above.
There are many reason that boost Plasti Dip ahead of the competition. The first major factor is price. Plasti Dip is affordable. Plasti Dip also protects your car's surface from the elements of the road and weather. We can't forget that Plasti Dip also looks great. The smooth matte surface of Plasti Dip gives your car a satin sheen that will make it stand out and get noticed in a row of shiny clear-coated cars that look all the same. Because Plastic Dip is available in so many colors and finishes, we can customize a color specifically to your liking. We now have metallics and pearls that we can add to the plast dip. And if you want to change it up, peel it off! It's as easy as that.
